Due to the recent executive order, we will have a limited capacity at our home football game this Friday evening vs Manistique. Each player and band member will receive 2 ticket vouchers to attend the game. You will not be able to attend without a voucher. The game will be available for streaming at: www.nfhsnetwork.com/subscribe/retail A monthly pass is $10.99 or an annual pass is $69.99. Go to the NFHS website, go to “Find your school” at the top, and type in Negaunee High School. You can hit the subscribe button and that will allow you to view the games. Once you have a membership you will also be able to watch most of Negaunee athletic away contests as well.

Due to this, ALL students 18 and under eat breakfast and lunch for free. It's important to note that milk does not qualify under the program, so it still needs to be purchased if a student is not receiving a meal.
It is also important for families to still fill out their free and reduced lunch forms, as it assists the district in receiving funds for different programs.

Middle School Football begins Monday.
Football practice for 7th and 8th grades will begin Monday, 9/14 at the Miners' Dry. Athletes should report to the Dry after school to meet with coaches and receive team information and helmets, followed by a short practice session. Players should have appropriate clothing (t-shirt, shorts, sweatpants, etc.) and proper footwear (cleats or running shoes). Monday's practice will run until approximately 4:30. Athletes can be picked up from the Miners' Dry.
Every player needs a physical on file/turned in in order to participate. Physicals from last school year ARE valid for this season.
Players should also bring a personal water bottle. No sharing of bottles is allowed. Players will be required to wear face coverings at all times.
We are excited to see our Middle School players get started on their season!
There will be a meeting tomorrow, September 10th, for anyone interested in NHS Cheerleading this fall at the Miners Football Field at 3:30 PM.
